That's how we can keep each one personal and still offer it at £9, delivered in 24–48 hours. What matters is that every portrait is made from your own photo and personalised to your dog's markings, face and name, then checked by a real person before it's sent — to make sure it genuinely looks like them, and that their name is spelled exactly right. It's made for your dog, never a generic template.

That's the thing we care about most. Every portrait is made from your specific photo — we work from your dog's coat, colouring, the shape of their face and the look in their eyes. Before we send anything, we check each portrait against your photo to make sure it's genuinely them. If it doesn't look right, we remake it. We won't send you something that doesn't feel like the dog you lost.

You'll receive 3–4 unique versions in your delivery email. Each one is a little different, so you can choose the one that feels most like them — or keep more than one. There's no single 'right' version, and sometimes two feel equally close.

Yes — their name is written in warm, legible script on the portrait. We take care with the positioning so it complements the drawing rather than sitting over it. Please take a moment to check the spelling when you place your order — it's the detail that matters most.

A clear, well-lit photo where your dog's face and coat are visible is ideal. The one you keep coming back to — the one on your phone that you've looked at a hundred times since they went — is almost certainly perfect. It doesn't need to be a professional shot. The most important thing is that it shows their colouring and face clearly. If a photo is too dark or blurry to work from, we'll let you know and ask if you have another.

We accept photos up to 10MB. Most phone photos are well within this — if yours happens to be larger, your phone or computer can usually export a slightly smaller version without any visible loss of quality.

Your portrait will arrive in your inbox within 24–48 hours of your order. We take that time because every portrait is personalised to your dog and reviewed before it's sent — the wait is deliberate. It means what you receive has been made with care, not rushed out in seconds. We think that matters, especially for something like this.

By email, as high-resolution digital files. You'll receive a message with your portraits attached or as download links. There are no physical prints at present — but the files are sized so you can take them to any print shop and have them printed at A4 or larger, beautifully.

Portraits are delivered as high-resolution PNG files, suitable for printing or displaying on screen. They're portrait-oriented and large enough to print clearly at A4 or bigger — frame-ready, if you'd like.

Yes, absolutely. If you receive your portraits and something feels off — the shading isn't quite right, the expression isn't quite them — just reply to the delivery email and tell us what you'd like changed. We'll make a revised version and send it over.

Because portraits are digital files made specifically for your dog and delivered to you, we're not able to offer cash refunds once a portrait has been created and sent.
